Our Story: From Dream to Delicious Reality

Founded in 2025, Triplets Spice is the result of a special friendship and a shared passion for food that began years ago at University of Manitoba. The idea was born during countless conversations among three close friends Manya, of Indian ethnic background and Melissa Khov and Melinda Khov, both of Chinese ethnic heritage. Their deep connection to their cultural roots inspired many rich discussions about food and traditions.

Gathered around meals and late-night talks, they shared stories of the vibrant street foods and rich culinary heritage from their families’ countries of origin. Each friend brought a unique perspective shaped by their family recipes and cultural experiences. From these conversations emerged a vision to blend Indian spices and Chinese cooking techniques into a single, exciting culinary experience a celebration of their heritage and passion for food.

Starting with a modest kitchen and a handful of carefully crafted dishes, their dream took shape. Today, Triplet Spice proudly represents Indo-Chinese fusion in the community. Loved by locals and visitors alike, our restaurant continues to grow while remaining true to its roots, celebrating friendship, culture, creativity, and outstanding cuisine.
